At our world-famous GLIX workshop in Golden Lane, Canterbury we tailor-make musical instruments to order.

Raul Fernando Cadiz, our patron, spent almost all his life devoted to the building of musical instruments and to the study of the mechanical-acoustic properties of local and foreign woods. Our instruments are used throughout the world, and are noted for the excellent quality of their warm sound.

• We will design, replicate or build from your own design.
• We use hand-split wood, of the finest quality; natured, aged and air-seasoned for at least 15 years.
• Every instrument is uniquely hand-crafted and the only glues used are fish or rabbit glues.
• We build and finish instruments in the traditional way. In the case of the violin family, for instance, oil varnish is brushed  in many layers and hand-polished.
• We deliver instruments with or without cases and will make cases for uncommon instruments on request.
