Guitar of Argentine woods

Above is a Rio Palisander-style guitar with nylon strings. Sitka Spruce sound board, Victorian Blackwood back and sides, Jarrah neck and fingerboard.

For the faces of many guitars we use lighter coloured woods such as maple, lime or pine and for the rear and fretboards we tend to use darker woods such as rosewood and mahogany.
